Event Coordinator
Linda graduated from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in theater. She is married to her husband, and they have two beautiful kids. Linda worked as an event planner in Nigeria, acted in various television dramas, produced and acted in a faith-based family movie, and produced and hosted a television show for mothers called "Mums Hangout." She moved to Houston in 2020 to be closer to family and accessible medical care. She loves Houston's diversity and weather because it reminds her of home.
Linda volunteers in her local church, talking to people about Jesus and how much he loves them. Linda has a heart for people, especially mothers. Leaning into this passion, she produces a social media vlog for mothers, encouraging them to live up to their full potential and be all God has created them to be. Furthermore, Linda registered her non-profit, S.M.I.L.E. INITIATIVE (Showing Mothers in Distress Love and Empathy), when she moved to the U.S. She works on this pet project in her spare time.
Linda joined the staff at PLI in October 2023. She heard about PLI through her local church and is excited to be a part of an organization with a heart for immigrants and refugees. As an immigrant, she knows what it feels like to move to a country far away from home. She is excited to support PLI as our Event Coordinator. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, exercising, cooking, and spending time with family.
