Laura Wilcox

Laura was first introduced to the heartbreaking stories of refugees in 2015 when she participated in a short-term trip with a team to Greece. She continues to travel internationally and labor in the harvest, and at the same time, she is encouraged to be involved in serving immigrants locally. Laura began volunteering with Prestige Learning Institute in 2021 and loves being involved in outreach.

Laura worked with an international ministry organization for over two decades before founding Sacred Story Ministries. She believes in the power of sharing stories to shine the hope of Jesus Christ. She has written women's Bible studies and is an experienced retreat facilitator. Laura graduated with a B.B.A. from the University of Texas in Marketing and received a M.A.B.S. in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Laura's family lives in Houston, and she loves being part of their lives. She enjoys meaningful conversation, a good laugh, a rich travel adventure, and being outside in God's creation.
